Built in 1968 to take advantage of the area’s natural underground trona reserves, the Green River plant sits on top of the original mine and has been part of the local Sweetwater County landscape for 55 years.
Job opportunities at Green River center on baking soda production, specialty products production and packaging, with 10 different products handled across the facility and sent out to customers and distribution centers across the country. Utility workers are trained to have knowledge of almost every role at the plant, so that they can provide coverage or an extra pair of hands as and when needed. This is in keeping with the family-feel that’s a big part of life at Church & Dwight, with everyone valuing the role that one another plays and being ready and willing to lend support as one team.
