Founded in 1846 and headquartered in Ewing, New Jersey, we’re one of the fastest growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies in the world. As a testament to the strength of our company, we were added to the S&P 500 in 2016 and as of year end 2020, we’re valued at $4.9 billion. A global leader in household consumer products and personal care, we’re proud to produce household brands like ARM & HAMMER™, Trojan™, First Response™, Nair™, Spinbrush™, OxiClean™ and Orajel™.

Our business is divided into three primary segments:

Consumer Domestic

This segment includes our fourteen power brands, Our global brands include ARM & HAMMER®, Batiste™, OxiClean™, Trojan™, XTRA™, Nair™, First Response™, Spinbrush™, Orajel™, vitafusion™, Li’l Critters™, Water Pik®, Zicam®, TheraBreath®  and Hero as well as other household and personal care products. 

Consumer International

We sell a variety of household and personal care products in international markets, including Canada, the U.K., France, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and China. Many of our products use the same brands as our domestic product lines. Learn more about our international reach here.   

Specialty Products

With a growing global animal productivity business, including more than a dozen different products that help improve the productivity and wellness of animal agriculture, we are the largest U.S. producer of sodium bicarbonate. We sell products containing other specialty inorganic chemicals designed for a variety of industrial, institutional, medical, food and specialty cleaning applications. Our History

Back in 1846, it was the beginning of something bigger than either of brothers-in-law Dr. Austin Church and John Dwight knew when they began preparing bicarbonate of soda for commercial distribution.
