Warehouse Operator

Pay: $24.51 per hour + shift differential

Schedule:

  • Thursday & Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

General Summary

The Warehouse Operator will support the warehouse area while following all company safety rules and regulations as they relate to the job.

Essential Functions

  • Log in and run a safety checklist on a forklift at the start of each shift.
  • Safely operate a forklift transporting components and finished goods pallets.
  • Ensure dock lock is engaged before entering a trailer prior to loading or unloading materials.
  • Ensure carrier in door and carrier on pick list or Bill of Lading match prior to loading or unloading.
  • Able to pick and drop off components safely and stage them in designated areas using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) forklift-mounted scanner gun with monitor.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of finished goods order loading.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the plant.
  • Practice and maintain safe conditions throughout the shift.
  • Report back to the supervisor in a timely manner when job duties are completed for the next assignment.
  • Receive components into WMS with 100% accuracy.
  • Ability to line return components accurately and according to company policy.
  • Participate in all job-related safety training and personally comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Computer Skills

  • Basic computer functions and knowledge of WMS or other warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Physical ability to handle pieces of freight weighing at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to drive a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to drive a forklift.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Basic computer skills and good math, written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination required.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, and JSAs.

Compensation & Benefits

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $24.51 - $26.26 per hour. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity.
