Warehouse Resource Operator
Schedule
- Thursday & Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Pay
- $26.22 per hour base pay + $1.75 per hour shift differential
- Eligible for annual bonus!
General Summary
The Warehouse Resource Operator will support the warehouse area while following all company safety rules and regulations as it relates to the job.
Essential Functions
Oversee Warehouse Personnel
- Train all personnel and ensure compliance with department’s JSA’s, GMP’s, and SOP’s
- Responsible for providing all job-related safety training and ensuring team compliance with safety policies and procedures; personally complies with all safety policies
- Assign work activities on the shift and ensure team output, efficiencies, and manpower requirements
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and facility with internal and external maintenance services
- Coordinate on-the-job training for all regular and temporary warehouse employees and ensure competency
Oversee Day-to-Day Warehouse Operations
- Oversee finished goods trailer audits to ensure accurate loading
- Analyze and solve problems related to daily department workloads
- Ensure accurate line supply and return process to the manufacturing floor
- Maintain general housekeeping standards in the warehouse to meet GMP requirements
- Provide ideas to improve overall warehouse flow and efficiency
- Participate in and comply with all job-related safety training and procedures
- Utilize and troubleshoot warehouse systems, including WMS
- Provide back-up assistance for packaging-related issues when needed
- Support WMS training and skill development for warehouse personnel
- Support outbound STO processes in WMS to facilitate shipment flow
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience / Skills Requirements
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, WMS, SAP)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of material handling equipment, including a valid forklift driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of GMP’s, SOP’s, and JSA’s
Education and Work Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one year of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing warehouse or distribution center
- Knowledge of material movement and handling in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience as a project coordinator or team leader is a plus
