Schedule:
- Thursday & Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate:
- $22.95 per hour + shift differential
- Bonus eligible
General Summary
Operates as a fully participating and effective team member of a production line within the scope of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required of this position. Monitors the performance and workflow of the production line in one or more functions in the following areas: safety, housekeeping, productivity, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operates at least one major piece of equipment on any of the packaging lines.
- Conducts minor Preventive Maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, inspections, and adjustments).
- Assists Mechanics/Line Technicians with performing Planned Maintenance.
- Performs all daily basic safety checks and observations, quality checks, checklists, and housekeeping.
- Clears equipment jams.
- Ensures compliance with the recycling process of empty component boxes.
- Utilizes computer interface panels to operate equipment.
- Maintains equipment and performs full changeovers, washouts, and sanitizations.
- Adheres to the requirements of SOPs and GMPs.
- Wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and follows all safety procedures as documented in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Reports safety hazards, quality issues, and production issues to supervision immediately.
- Participates in all job-related safety, quality, and equipment training.
- Complies with all Church & Dwight Co. Inc. policies and procedures and NJ laws.
Non-Essential Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Trains other operators as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Able to communicate, write, and read English
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Ability to take and follow directions
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Maintains good safety record
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
The U.S. base pay for this full-time position is $22.95 per hour + shift differential. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

Actual base pay will be based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographic location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
