Senior Digital Marketing Manager (Hybrid)

Reports to: Senior Brand Director, Household & eCommerce

Position Summary

Church & Dwight Canada is seeking a strategic, innovative, and results-driven Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead the evolution of our digital marketing and eCommerce strategy across Canada.

This role is responsible for shaping and executing our digital vision, driving omnichannel growth, and delivering connected consumer experiences across our portfolio of leading brands. As the organization's digital marketing expert, you will champion innovation, digital transformation, AI-enabled opportunities, consumer journey excellence, Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) initiatives, and data-driven decision making.

Partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, Analytics, IT, and Global Digital teams, you will lead the development of integrated commercial digital strategies that accelerate growth, strengthen consumer engagement, and enhance business performance. This role also plays a critical leadership role in advancing digital capabilities throughout the organization while fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Commerce & Omnichannel Leadership (60%)

  • Lead the vision and execution of Church & Dwight Canada's eCommerce growth strategy across key retail and digital platforms.
  • Drive portfolio prioritization and online assortment strategies to maximize digital sales performance.
  • Partner with Sales teams to grow and optimize eCommerce revenue through search, retail media, promotions, digital merchandising, advertising, analytics, and innovation initiatives.
  • Develop and execute eRetail and D2C go-to-market strategies that support product launches, promotions, and sustainable business growth.
  • Identify and implement innovative digital commerce opportunities, retail test-and-learns, and emerging technologies.
  • Manage digital profitability, performance metrics, and business case development for new initiatives.

Digital Marketing & Consumer Experience (40%)

  • Lead the development of connected consumer journey strategies across the full marketing funnel.
  • Drive digital activation in partnership with Brand teams to enhance consumer engagement and conversion.
  • Develop strategies that optimize websites, social media, content ecosystems, and personalized consumer experiences.
  • Serve as a thought leader on emerging trends in digital marketing, AI, social commerce, personalization, and consumer behavior.
  • Build measurement frameworks to assess consumer engagement, campaign effectiveness, and business impact.

Analytics, Innovation & Organizational Leadership

  • Partner with Business Analytics teams to leverage insights that identify growth opportunities and quantify consumer value.
  • Lead digital performance reporting and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Provide strategic guidance to Brand Directors and Marketing Managers on digital opportunities, investment decisions, and best practices.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Marketing teams and agency partners to ensure alignment, execution excellence, and measurable results.
  • Champion digital learning, capability building, and upskilling across the organization.
  • Collaborate with IT, U.S., and Global Digital teams to evaluate, implement, and govern new digital solutions.
  • Manage and develop a team of two direct reports, fostering engagement, growth, and high performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline required.
  • MBA considered a strong asset.

Experience

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in Digital Marketing, eCommerce, and Omnichannel strategy.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing digital growth strategies that drive business results.
  • Proven people leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong experience leading complex strategic initiatives from concept through commercialization.
  • Experience launching new products, driving innovation initiatives, or leading major brand transformations.

Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of:

  • eCommerce strategy and retailer ecosystems
  • Amazon ecosystem and Amazon Retail Analytics
  • Retail media and search marketing (SEM)
  • Web analytics and digital measurement
  • Organic search and SEO principles
  • Consumer journey optimization and personalization
  • Digital promotions, loyalty, subscription, and auto-replenishment programs
  • Social media marketing and content strategy
  • Data analytics and performance measurement

Technology

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI, Stackline, and digital analytics platforms is considered an asset.

Compensation

The Ontario salary range for this position is $124,000 to $160,000.

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, internal equity, market competitiveness, and geographic location.
