Major Responsibilities: 

  • Perform raw material analysis according to current specifications and SOP’s. Assure each raw material has a vendor Certificate of Analysis.
  • Performs bulk analysis testing according to current specifications and SOP’s and supplies bulk approvals for filling lines
  • Perform finished product testing according to current specifications and SOP’s
  • Perform review of other analyst’s notebooks and analysis reports
  • Maintain/standardize laboratory equipment according to current SOP’s
  • Prepare/standardize laboratory solutions according to current SOP’s
  • Quarantine raw materials, bulk products or finished products that do not meet current specifications
  • Provide analytical testing for Plant validations
  • Provide analytical testing to support finished product expiration (stability)
  • Provide analytical testing in support of R & D Plant Test requests
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and Job Safety Analysis in all areas of the job
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Computer Skills:
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel

Able to communicate, write and read English

Teamwork -Ability to interact with employees at all levels

Ability to take and follow directions

Basic math skills

Attention to details

Basic computer skills

Maintain good safety record

Education and Work Experience required:
Bachelors Degree in a Science Field

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $57,000–$85,600. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity.  Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
