Finance Manager, Sales & eCommerce
Reports To: Finance Director, Commercial Finance
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded Finance Manager, Sales & eCommerce to join our Finance team. In this highly visible role, you will serve as a key business partner to Sales, Revenue Management, Commercial Operations, and Commercial Finance teams, providing critical financial leadership, analysis, and decision support that drives profitable growth. You will help optimize customer investments, strengthen Gross-to-Net management, improve visibility into customer and eCommerce profitability, and support the development of long-term revenue and margin strategies. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who combines strong financial expertise with business insight and thrives in a fast-paced consumer goods environment.
What You'll Do
Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner with Sales, Revenue Management, Commercial Operations, and Commercial Finance teams to align business objectives and improve visibility into customer investments and Gross-to-Net performance.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support customer investments, customer profitability, and new business opportunities.
- Support trade strategy development, spend optimization, and execution monitoring of key commercial initiatives.
- Identify profitable customer, channel, and brand opportunities using customer portfolio management principles.
- Partner with Revenue Management to support annual trade planning by brand.
- Provide oversight, tracking, and controls related to trade spend investments.
- Deliver financial leadership and insight into eCommerce profitability across Pureplay, Omni-channel, and emerging retail customers.
- Support customer fines forecasting and mitigation planning.
Business Performance Management
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews focused on customer profitability, Gross-to-Net performance, trade spend, sales returns, and allowances.
- Analyze actual results against plan, forecast, and prior year performance and provide actionable insights.
- Own the trade estimate process for corporate forecasting, identifying key drivers of variance and recommending corrective actions.
- Develop enhanced reporting and analytical capabilities to improve decision making and profitability insights.
- Provide oversight to the Trade Deduction team to support timely deduction resolution, reduce accounts receivable balances, and improve cash flow performance.
Leadership, Process & Governance
- Coach, mentor, and develop the Sales Finance team while fostering an inclusive and high-performing culture.
- Build financial capability within Sales and Commercial Operations through training and business partnership.
- Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and standardization of financial workflows.
- Lead trade governance, compliance, and monitoring activities to ensure effective controls and audit readiness.
What You'll Bring
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA and/or CPA designation preferred.
Experience
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
- Strong background in Sales Finance, Commercial Finance, Revenue Management Finance, or Customer Profitability.
- Previous people leadership and team development experience required.
- Experience working with Oracle and/or SAP is considered an asset.

- Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to influence business decisions.
- Advanced analytical, financial modeling, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset, strong initiative, and a solutions-focused approach.

The Ontario compensation range for this role is $100,000 –$140,000. Church & Dwight’s salary ranges are intentionally broad to provide employees with opportunities for future growth and progression within the company. Actual starting salaries are determined based on internal equity, relevant experience, market competitiveness, and job location.
