If that sounds like you, we have an exciting opportunity for a Plant Quality Manager to join our Quality team and take full ownership of quality performance across our Folkestone manufacturing plant.

This role is based on site at the manufacturing plant in Folkestone, Kent 5 days per week.

As Plant Quality Manager, you’ll play a critical leadership role in ensuring that quality standards are embedded, maintained and continuously improved across all site operations. You’ll oversee Quality Control, Quality Assurance and batch release activities, while working closely with cross‑functional teams to drive a strong quality culture across both cosmetic and medical device manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities across the plant.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 13485 / 22716 and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee batch release for finished goods, raw materials and bulk product via SAP.
  • Drive root cause investigations, CAPAs and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead internal and external quality audits.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain and Regulatory teams.
  • Ensure effective training, development and performance of the Quality team.
  • Maintain efficient laboratory operations and packaging inspection processes.
  • Support complaint investigations and drive resolution.

Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
  • Extensive experience in quality roles within regulated industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP and ISO standards (13485 / 22716).
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams.
  • Experience within cosmetics, FMCG or medical device manufacturing desirable.

You’ll be a confident and influential leader with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills. Organised and analytical, you bring expertise in quality tools such as root cause analysis, FMEA and CAPA, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines. You’ll be self‑motivated, adaptable to change, and passionate about building high‑performing teams while driving continuous improvement and risk mitigation across the business.

This role works Monday – Friday, 37-hours per week.
