About the Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Strategist to own and evolve our social presence across platforms. This role will translate the broader marketing calendar into a cohesive, high-impact social strategy and execution plan. You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, content, and performance—driving channel growth, engagement, and brand consistency while collaborating closely with the creative team.
Work Environment
Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in New York City and requires in- person attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Social Strategy & Planning
Translate the marketing calendar into a clear, insight-driven social calendar across all relevant platforms
Define channel-specific strategies (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) aligned with brand and business goals
Identify content opportunities tied to campaigns, cultural moments, and trends
Continuously refine approach based on performance data and platform evolution
Content Direction & Creation
Brief and collaborate with the creative team to produce high-performing, platform-native content
Contribute to content ideation and, where needed, create content directly (copy, simple visuals, short-form video)
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and visual identity
Stay ahead of trends and proactively bring new ideas to the table
Calendar & Execution Management
Own and maintain the social content calendar
Ensure timely execution of all posts, campaigns, and reactive content
Manage approvals and cross-functional alignment with marketing and other stakeholders
Balance planned content with agile, real-time opportunities
Performance & Reporting
Own social reporting across channels (weekly, monthly, campaign-level)
Track key metrics (engagement, reach, growth, conversions where relevant)
Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
Test and optimize content formats, posting cadence, and messaging

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minium of 3–6 years of experience in social media strategy, content, or digital marketing
Strong understanding of major social platforms and their nuances
Proven ability to turn brand/marketing objectives into effective social strategies
Experience managing content calendars and working with creative or creator teams
Comfortable both briefing content and creating it yourself when needed
Data-driven mindset with experience in social analytics and reporting tools
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Paid social knowledge (even if not hands-on)
Familiarity with social listening tools and trend forecasting
Basic design or video editing skills
Compensation and Benefits
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $110,900-$160,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
