Job Summary 

Church & Dwight is seeking a Sr. Brand Manager- A&H Liquid Laundry Detergent, to join our team. Church & Dwight is a high growth CPG company with household brands like ARM & HAMMER, Batiste, Orajel, TheraBreath, Waterpik, Hero, Oxiclean and Touchland, and many more.

About the Role

This role will lead the A&H Liquid Laundry brand. It requires a thoughtful, strategic approach for long-term brand health, as well as the ability to manage complexity well.

Work Environment  

Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ and requires in- person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays. 

Job Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the total A&H LLD brand strategy to deliver annual goals as well as meet the 2030 strategy goals.
  • Own the A&H LLD brand Profit & Loss (P&L), overseeing strategic and tactical operations of the business
  • Lead building brand forecasts to ensure short- and long-term success in meeting brand financial targets
  • Collaborate with our cross-functional team members, including Sales, Global New Products, Operations, R&D, Packaging, Finance and many others to grow the business, driving share, sales, and profit
  • Develop the commercialization strategies for launches to ensure in-market success of innovation and lead a team to develop line extensions that meet the needs of consumers and retailers
  • Lead inter-agency teams, including media, creative, PR, and others, to develop integrated, high-impact creative and experiences that build brand awareness and deepen consumer engagement, ultimately driving share and HHP growth
  • Measure progress continually, whether brand and product performance, consumer research, media effectiveness, or diagnosing challenges and opportunities for the business
  • Manage, coach, and develop two Associate Brand Managers

Skills and Competencies  

  • Passion for the brand and for delivering great consumer experiences
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines both independently and as part of a team
  • Be a high-performing, strategic thinker with the ability to roll up your sleeves and dive deep for execution excellence in delivering consumer products and experiences that build brand love
  • Possess a growth mindset and one who truly thrives in an agile and fast-paced work environment with autonomy to drive outcomes, and able to translate higher-level strategy into everyday execution
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify the complex and strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Build and manage highly effective teams and lead extensive cross-functional and inter-agency teams with excellent interpersonal and influence skills
  • Have exceptional project management and organizational skills, who can balance many complex projects simultaneously and be able to pivot quickly to the varying managing the business
  • General manager mindset and highly curious in marketing, managing a business, and consumer experience. We seek energy, enthusiasm, and ability to raise the bar.

Education and Experience 

  • BA/BS required; MBA strongly preferred
  • 6+  years in Marketing (CPG preferred)
  • Mastery of analyzing POS/consumption data, category analysis, and forecasting
  • Experience leading brand conversations with Sales and customers
  • Experience with common consumer marketing research tools and techniques, and mine data for insights
  • Experience with P&L analysis. Ability to lead complex, strategic projects through commercialization.
  • Experience managing and influencing cross-functional teams in conversations and in presentations, as well as licensing experience.

Compensation and Benefits  

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,200-$185,400. This position is also eligible for a bonus. 

As a Church & Dwight US employee, you (and eligible dependents, as applicable) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, and Paid Parental Leave. U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. You are also able to participate in our 401k retirement plan (with company match and profit-sharing) and Discounted Employee Stock Purchase Plan.   

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity.  Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
