ROLE SUMMARY:
The incumbent will oversee the efficient processing, tracking, and reconciling of all logistical records associated with the site's shipping warehouse.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*denotes essential functions):
- *Processing order transactions through an electronic warehousing manage ment system (WMS) and reconciling against records created in SAP.
- *Tracking and verifying bills of lading for both internal transfers of products and external shipments.
- *Monitoring the inventory of hundreds of SKUs for upcoming orders; and tracking and ensuring accurate schedules are prepared and implemented.
- *This position may be required to work assigned and/or mandatory overtime based on operational needs and adequate staffing levels specific to their department and the essential functions of their position.
- Other duties as assigned by Church & Dwight Co., INC.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of related experience OR
- 2 years of post-secondary degree (with or without degree) in related discipline and 1 year of related experience.
PREFERED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Preference will be given to candidates with applicable shipping and/or logistical recordkeeping experience, and proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in entering and analyzing data within WMS and SAP systems.
- Ability to reconcile discrepancies between different data records.
- Strong attention to detail for tracking bills of lading and monitoring inventory levels.
- Precision in scheduling and verifying shipping details.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to order processing and inventory discrepancies.
- Communication:
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to provide clear and accurate information on shipping schedules and order statuses.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, such as processing transactions and tracking shipments.
- Strong organizational abilities to keep track of numerous SKUs and shipping schedules.
REQUIRED TRAINING:
- OSHA Safety Training
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must possess the ability to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
Salary:DOE
