Job Summary
Church & Dwight is seeking a Commercial Business Systems Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for working with cross-functional teams to advance the company’s capabilities by translating business needs into IT-based solution requirements and ensuring delivered solutions meet those needs.
This individual will lead analysis efforts on complex, high-impact initiatives across Marketing, Sales, and the Specialty Products Division (SPD), while contributing deep expertise across business processes, technology, data, artificial intelligence, and organizational design.
About the Role
The Commercial Business Systems Analyst will partner closely with IT, business stakeholders, Product Owners, Product Managers, and third-party implementation partners to design, develop, and deploy marketing, sales, and SPD technology applications. This role is responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring systems are optimized for performance, usability, and long-term sustainability.
The analyst will play a key role in shaping and supporting the organization’s MarTech ecosystem, ensuring strong data flow integration and enabling business partners to effectively leverage technology to meet commercial objectives.
This individual will also identify opportunities to implement AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent automation, and decision-support tools across commercial business processes. The analyst will support business architecture and process-excellence initiatives by connecting business capabilities, end-to-end processes, data flows, and technology solutions to measurable business outcomes.
Work Environment
Hybrid: The role will be based in Ewing, NJ and requires in-person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Create high-quality technical and architectural designs that align with business needs and promote scalable development
Analyze, model, and evaluate current processes, workflows, user flows, and data to recommend improved business solutions
Drive simplification, code reuse, and leverage existing system capabilities while maintaining optimal performance and service levels
Develop system test scripts to ensure integrated systems are robust, compliant, and meet business requirements
Evaluate new tools and third-party applications, providing recommendations on their effectiveness and alignment with business needs
Translate functional requirements into technical designs, implement solutions, and perform unit testing
Serve as the primary technical lead for systems, platforms, and integration capabilities
Leverage strong data analysis skills to support marketing initiatives and improve data flow across the MarTech ecosystem
Identify, design, and deploy AI-enabled use cases, including copilots, intelligent automation, and decision-support tools, to improve business productivity, insight generation, and user experience
Partner with business and IT teams to design, configure, and integrate AI agents into core workflows, including marketing campaign execution, revenue management, and customer engagement, to streamline processes and reduce manual effort
Define requirements and governance standards for agentic systems, ensuring responsible AI usage, data quality, traceability, and seamless integration across enterprise platforms
Develop and maintain business capability maps, process taxonomies, and system landscape views to provide transparency into how technology enables business outcomes
Model and document end-to-end business processes and value streams, ensuring alignment between business objectives, data flows, and supporting applications
Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, automation, and technology optimization
Partner closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to refine backlogs, define user stories, and establish clear acceptance criteria aligned with business-value outcomes
Act as a key contributor within a product-centric operating model, continuously improving solutions through iterative delivery, stakeholder feedback, and value measurement
Support product teams with prioritization decisions, release planning, dependency management, and value-realization tracking, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals
Lead and participate in code and design reviews
Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide post-production support
Education and Experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Five or more years of development or business-systems experience with strong knowledge of Salesforce functionality and capabilities
Experience with Sales and Marketing technologies such as Salesforce, Revenue Growth Management, Product Information Management, Digital Asset Management, and web-development tools
Experience designing, documenting, developing, and testing high-performing applications using automated testing tools
Strong ability to develop clean, standards-based code using industry best practices
Experience with site, page, and content-management systems
Experience participating in business-system implementations
Strong SQL skills with the ability to query databases and generate reports
Experience gathering and translating complex business requirements into functional and technical solution requirements
Experience documenting business processes, workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and system requirements
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional business teams, technical teams, Product Owners, Product Managers, and third-party implementation partners
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience identifying, designing, or implementing AI-enabled solutions, intelligent automation, copilots, or decision-support tools
Familiarity with responsible AI principles, AI governance, data quality, traceability, and agentic-system design
Experience developing business capability maps, process taxonomies, value streams, or system landscape documentation
Experience working within an Agile, product-centric, or product-operating-model environment
Relevant business experience in areas such as Order to Cash (O2C), A2R, or Procure-to-Pay (P2P/F2S)
Experience in a consumer products industry environment
Compensation and Benefits
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,500–$131,700. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
