Church & Dwight is looking for a passionate and talented Digital Strategy Senior Manager to join our newly established Digital Strategy team within the Digital Growth function. This role is responsible for holistic full-funnel digital strategy and deployment to impact consumers across all points of the digital journey (inclusive of digital media, search, social, influencer, website, etc).  

The Digital Strategy Manager serves as a strategic leader, owning digital planning and aspects of the implementation process for multiple Business Units. This role is a digital strategy expert and a thought leader who is accountable for formulating and delivering all digital touchpoints in multiple business units. This position will support our Home Care & Fabric Care SBUs.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Part of a digital strategy leadership cohort for digital touchpoints and platforms and ensure data-driven holistic content strategy is utilized across the digital ecosystem (i.e. CRM, Social, Search, Video/Programmatic, Owned)
  • Partner with other digital strategy senior managers and digital strategy director in creating digital vision, thought leadership, and emerging digital capability roadmap leveraging the collective understanding of business, SBUs, markets, products, services, and emerging digital tech.
  • Develops, plans, and integrates digital media strategy in collaboration with agency of record ensuring alignment with overall Business units’ vision and strategy.
  • Provide actionable insight from digital strategy score card a KPI in standardized templates and ensure the digital plan are adjusted and executed accordingly.
  • Independently handles project deliverables, timelines, budgets, and crucial outcomes, ensuring readiness for new product launches support, digital campaigns launches and adherence to annual digital strategy planning.
  • Functions as a liaison to Business and IT partners to gain a broad understanding of industry trends and innovations, and their impact on digital marketing.
  • Develop and deliver new digital capabilities, change management as well as upskill organization digitally while coaching and managing a team of 3-4 digital experts to deliver quality output on time.
  • Build strategy and oversee execution of a corporate tentpole span multiple SBUs with clarity of responsibility and support the digital strategy manager.
  • Regularly meet with SBU leaders (directors and VPs) to make sure the digital strategy is delivering on business unit commercial strategy.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, MBA a plus
  • 8+ years related experience – Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, social media
  • Solid track record for developing and leading high performing teams and broad digital programs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, previous community management and copywriting experience preferred.
  • Strong time management and organization skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, energetic and matrixed environment

  • Challenge the status quo and be a change agent in action.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and energetic environment
  • “Out of the box” and “disruptor” mindset combined with appreciation and respect for the rich legacy at Church and Dwight
  • Congenial and can serve as the internal go-to for ‘Digital Education.’
