Job Location: Hybrid (Princeton, NJ/Home Office)

As the HR Business Partner the Research & Development, Quality, and Regulatory functions, you will play a strategic advisory role to business leaders and support business and people strategies to drive business performance. You will coach business leadership on priorities, talent management, capabilities, rewards and performance, culture and engagement, talent management and succession planning. In addition, you are the site HR lead for our Princeton, NJ campus.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute against a broad base of HR programs and initiatives aligned with the business strategy.

  • Ensure effective implementation of major, ongoing Church & Dwight programs.

  • Identify, propose, and implement HR best practices; leverage expertise and utilize resources to support and promote client group business objectives.

  • Provide problem evaluation/interpretation of policy for management and employees; advise/counsel employees and management with the objective of problem prevention and resolution.

  • Handle high-level HR issues and highly confidential assignments.

  • Assist business leaders with training, development, and succession planning issues; design and propose initiatives and programs to train and develop employees, increase productivity, improve morale, motivate employees, and create a positive employee relations climate.

  • Assist leaders in the performance management and development process. Design, develop and implement compensation and human resource initiatives in support of business objectives and strategy; provide consultation to management on current compensation related issues and trends.

  • Act as member of the R&D leadership team.

  • Support local site needs such as act as a liaison with security personnel, corporate facilities, and safety as needed.

Education and Experience:                                                          

  • 7 - 10 years HR experience in all aspects of HR management, with emphasis on consulting, employee relations, and organizational development.

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business, HR or related major is required.

  • Must have prior experience as an HR Business Partner supporting Senior Leaders and their extended leadership teams.

  • Solution oriented.

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to relate to people in all parts of the plant and organization.

  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to lead people through change and adversity.

  • Future focused, thinking ahead & anticipating risks & opportunities. Organizational design experience.

  • Strong leadership skills to build and maintain excellence within the HR community.
