Hybrid, Princeton South, NJ

The Commercial Strategy & Sales Ops Associate will report into the Associate Director of Commercial Strategy & Sales Operations and provide analytic as well as strategic support to the group. 

This role will be critical for helping the Commercial Organization achieve it’s business and financial goals. Additionally, the Commercial Strategy & Sales Operation Associate is a key liaison between several internal departments and is consistently supporting initiatives centered around improvements that will make Sales more effective, efficient, and profitable. 

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities   

  • Conduct robust analyses and provide insights into Commercial forecast to identify leading drivers, key trends, proactive assessments on beats/misses and project actualization impacts 

  • Develop insights and recommendations into Commercial accuracy improvements as well as corresponding adjustments based on multiple data sources 

  • Provide analytic support and tracking for Commercial Innovation projects to help Leadership make informed decisions 

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis to identify Sales process/tool improvement opportunities and lead the collaboration with IT & Advanced Analytics on the scoping along with implementation of new Sales solutions 

  • Partner with Revenue Growth Management and Commercial Finance on sales incentive KPI tracking  

  • Collaborate with Advanced Analytics to enhance Commercial data and reporting automation in key platforms (i.e. Power BI) 

  • Serve as Sales Analytic lead for anomaly reporting & insights on key Sales Tools as well as top reports 

Education and Experience                                                           

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required 

  • +2 years experience 

  • CPG experience preferred

  • Passion for data analysis and great ability to effectively extract insights 

  • Strength in summarizing data from multiple sources and providing recommendations as well as reporting output 

  • Ability to work within established processes and timelines 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Solid financial and business acumen 

  • Solid communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills) with the ability to communicate across multiple functions and levels 

  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail particularly with data and communication 

  • Proficient in Circana, Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint), PowerBI
