If the answer is yes - then look no further as Church & Dwight UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a talented E&A eCommerce Manager to join our exclusive GMG (Global Markets Group Europe & Africa) team based in our London Euston Office with Hybrid working.

You will be responsible for delivering sales and profit growth through successful management of eCommerce Accounts, enhancement of our Distributor Partners eCommerce capabilities and opening of new markets and eCommerce opportunities within the Europe & Africa geography.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full ownership of the Regions eCommerce Strategy and growth by partnering with eCommerce and cross functional teams to identify growth strategies and priorities for the EA region within the eCommerce channel & platforms.
  • Management and control of the Regions eCommerce business including Amazon Italy, Spain and other strategic eCom accounts.
  • Optimization of the go-to-market strategy: working closely with the e-distributors on cascading strategy, goal alignment and achieving KPIs according to business needs, and optimizing the go-to-market strategy to drive brand equity and market share gain.
  • Understanding of Key Distributor capabilities and ownership of agreed plans to develop their capability with clear KPI’s in place.
  • Preparation and implementation of agreed promotional plans: preparing and implementing promotional plans within agreed budget levels for each account and market, and updating them on an ongoing basis.
  • Forecast and monitor volume, value and profit: preparing volume, value, trade funding and profit budgets and forecasts for each account and market, and keeping updated records of all trade promotional funding and KPIs.
  • Conduct meetings and negotiations with customers: face to face meetings and negotiations with all relevant major account and distributor contacts at all levels, and leading joint business plans with Key Accounts/Distributors to deliver growth and achieve eCommerce key metrics.
  • Manage trade pricing and store rating: managing all trade pricing within the account portfolio and maintaining high store rating in both online and offline operations.
  • Building multi-level relationships: building multi-level relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring achievement of the region’s eCommerce ambition.
  • Update personal and business CSDs: responsibility for the preparation and continual updating of personal and business CSDs (Critical Success Drivers), within the company's Personal Management System.

The successful candidate should be educated to degree level with a solid understanding of the retail sectors and trading environments within Europe. You will have good working knowledge of trade marketing and category management functions. You will be able to build and maintain good working relationships with all key distributors and stakeholders both inside and outside of Church & Dwight.  

Moreover, you will possess excellent communication and people skills, with an international mindset and cultural sensitivity, and be able to present and influence effectively at all levels. Additionally, we are looking for someone with a positive and proactive attitude and be able adapt to changing situations.

This role works 37 hours per week Monday-Friday. The successful candidate may be expected to travel within UK and overseas.
