Are you an experienced Supply Planner within a multi-national organisation? Do you have experience of inventory management?  

If the answer is yes - then look no further. Church & Dwight UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a new Supply Planner to join our team for a fixed term contract based in Folkestone, Kent (with 50% on site and 50% working from home).

This role requires a flexible proactive approach, and the ability to deal with ambiguous information on multiple items, which can change frequently at short notice.

The supply planner will be key in inventory management and product lifecycle management, and the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. The supply planner has specific responsibility for issuing supply plans to contract manufacturers, placing replenishment orders and ensuring these are expedited or delayed as necessary, with all information kept updated on SAP and communicated to key stakeholders throughout the business. 

Key duties include:

·       Supply planning, including monthly forecast update into SAP

·       Communication with internal and external stakeholders

·       Replenishment orders and supply schedules for bought in items

·       Preparing information and presentations for monthly S&OP meeting.

·       Working to achieve inventory targets for your allocated brands.

·       Compilation of quarterly financial provisions for your allocated brands for in-house and copacked items.

·       Weekly and monthly reports of inventory data and general operations reports to local and US management.

·       KPI reporting.

·       Enforcement of the S&OP process.

·       Cross working within team worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have experience of a similar Supply Planning role within multi-national organisation in a comparable industry including FMCG, Food, Drink or other Consumer Goods. In addition, they will:

·       Be proficient in SAP with a level of knowledge and expertise of MRP list management in SAP

·       Be Experienced in placing purchase orders on SAP and following up with suppliers

·       Be highly numerate with excellent organisation skills & proven attention to detail

·       Have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English. 

·       Have experience at dealing effectively with people at all levels of an organisation

·       Have experience in a commercial or supply planning role

·       Have high level of computer literacy – spreadsheets, databases, presentations
