Church & Dwight UK Ltd. are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Head of European Quality. As the European Head of Quality, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality and compliance policies, processes, and programs across Europe.

Responsibilities include overseeing the manufacturing location in Folkestone, UK, and collaborating with various business leaders to ensure compliance and address quality management systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team, as well as working with external contract manufacturers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies that position the business to meet emerging market needs and quality requirements
  • Influence cross-functional teams to align with new quality requirements and ensure adherence to them
  • Oversee the implementation of new requirements and monitor compliance across manufacturing sites
  • Set requirements for suppliers and monitor their compliance to ensure quality standards are met
  • Conduct regular evaluations of project performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful execution
  • Create and lead teams and teams of teams to drive quality improvement initiatives
  • Communicate and engage effectively with vendors and suppliers, maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality in all interactions
  • Provide clear direction, remove obstacles, and hold self and others accountable for achieving quality objectives
  • Collaborate with plant managers, SBUs, and supply chain leadership to ensure quality standards are upheld
  • Actively build connections and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, participating in industry forums and meetings to stay updated on the latest trends and developments

Requirements:

  • University degree in a related field
  • Over 18 years of technical experience with a demonstrated track record
  • Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of ISO13485 and MDSAP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into action plans
  • Strong leadership and influence skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in talent management and developing future leaders
  • Ability to speak French is desirable

This role will require some international travel.
