Job Location: Hybrid (Fort Collins, CO/Home Office)

Role Summary                                                          

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Project Manager, specializing in the development of Consumer Durable Goods. As the driving force behind our projects, you'll have the opportunity to lead initiatives that improve oral health and make a meaningful difference in the world. We believe in a hybrid work environment with the expectation to be in the office located in Fort Collins, CO three days a week.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Innovative Solutions: Lead the development and execution of groundbreaking projects centered around our Water Pik products. Your creativity and strategic thinking will drive the creation of innovative solutions that enhance oral health and improve the well-being of individuals around the globe. Stay current on new trends in new product development and apply them as appropriate. Additionally, document project methods and suggest improvements in the product development process to ensure continuous enhancement and efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, experts, and communities. By actively listening and engaging with empathy, you'll ensure alignment, gather valuable insights, and drive impactful change together.

Impactful Quality Assurance: Embrace a commitment to excellence and quality in every aspect of your work. By implementing robust quality assurance processes, you'll ensure that our projects meet the highest standards and deliver meaningful results that positively impact people's lives.

Education and Experience                                                          

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Science or Engineering or equivalent learning experience is required. Passion for oral health and a desire to make a difference is a plus!

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager (4-5 years), successfully delivering projects with a focus on product development of consumer durable goods.

  • Skilled leadership and communication skills, empowering you to inspire and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong understanding and familiarity with most aspects of new product development, including engineering, marketing, finance, manufacturing, quality, deployment, etc.

  • Skilled organizational abilities, enabling you to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset, allowing you to navigate challenges and find creative solutions that drive positive change.

  • Demonstrated skill in project management software.

Preferred Experience                                                          

  • Experience in Consumer Durable Goods product development.  Specifically with Plastic Injection Molded parts and Electronic Control Systems.

  • Experience working with Asian manufacturing companies in New Product Development and Manufacturing.

Desired Training

PMP Certification.

Other Qualifications & Physical Requirements                                                        

Some international travel is expected. (1 to 2 times per year)

Report Structure

Reporting Relationship: Manager, Project Management – Operations.

Supervisory Duties:  No direct reports, however, will need to lead team members toward the successful execution of project tasks and ultimately to production and commercialization of new products.

Salary and Benefits

Water Pik, Inc., a partner company of Church & Dwight Company, Inc., supports our employee’s wellbeing and regularly benchmarks with other companies in our industry to offer an extensive Total Reward package for this position.  Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Estimated pay:  $68,000 - $106,300 Annual Salary
