We are seeking a Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team and are currently reviewing potential profiles ranging from Junior to Senior Buyer*.

As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and contracting for specified spend categories on behalf of user departments. Join us and develop effective business partnerships with suppliers and internal customers!

Responsibilities:

  • Support the commercial relationship between the Project Management team and external suppliers on specific projects.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Buyer in managing procurement for Pharma, Medical, and healthcare brands.
  • Conduct supplier negotiations and prepare RFQs for projects.
  • Represent the procurement department in project meetings, providing updates on price, lead time, and costs.
  • Confirm COGS with prices at a range of MOQs/EOQs.
  • Manage vendor data within SAP and maintain relationships with CMs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal customers.
  • Cover for the GMS Senior Buyer as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver cost reductions through effective negotiation strategies.
  • Exposure to commodity management and project sourcing.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Digital proficiency and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Customer service orientation.

Education and Experience:

  • CIPS Qualified desirable or other Professional Qualification.
  • Significant procurement experience with a track record of delivering cost improvements.
  • Strong understanding of End to End Supply Chain processes.
  • Good technical understanding of purchasing within relevant industries.
  • Experience in third-party vendor management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Proficient user of SAP or similar procurement management systems.
  • Multinational business experience with cross-functional teamwork.
