Explore your future career in our Early Career Program

At Church & Dwight, we offer students a chance to take on responsibility and gain real-world experience in a wide array of summer and seasonal internships and co-ops.  You’ll be working alongside our well-known household brands in all areas of the business from manufacturing, marketing, and selling our products.  Our Early Career program concludes with a capstone presentation to leadership, where you’ll have a chance to highlight your work and success!

Our Summer Internship Program is designed to appeal to students of all levels and interests, and includes functional training, leadership interaction, networking, mentoring, and trending professional development topics.

Locations

Our Early Career Programs are hybrid in the office three days per week, and located in Central NJ – including corporate opportunities at our Headquarters in Ewing, NJ and Research & Development opportunities at our Global R&D Center in Princeton, NJ

 

Roles

Internships:  We offer 10-week summer internships from late May to early August.   Occasional 3-month off-season (spring, winter, fall) internships are available.

Co-ops:  We offer 6-, 9-, or 12-month co-op roles that start as needed throughout the year.

Student Eligibility

Undergrad: currently enrolled undergraduate students who have completed at least two years of college coursework (rising Junior or rising Senior) while pursuing a bachelor's degree

MBA: Currently enrolled 1st year MBA, with an interest in marketing, sustainability, or a related field. 

Graduate non-MBA:  Currently enrolled PharmD, PhD, and MS students interested in research and development.

Location: Ability and interest in working a hybrid schedule in Ewing and Princeton, NJ.

US Work Authorization: US Citizen, permanent resident, green card holder).

 

Marketing Internships

Church & Dwight’s offers both Summer Associate Brand Manager Internships and Undergraduate Internships

First year MBA students work on a range of projects that address  current marketing needs for our top-selling brands, including TROJAN™, ARM & HAMMER™, OXICLEAN™, VITAFUSION™ and L'IL CRITTERS™ vitamins, SPINBRUSH™, NAIR™ and FIRST RESPONSE™. 

Interact with and present to senior management, attend field visits with our agency partners focused on media planning, advertising development and public relations, and enjoy networking and social events. 

Gain experience in strategy development, data analysis, market opportunity evaluation for new products, market research, new package development, creative development for consumer promotions and advertising, innovation, and much more.

Undergraduate students enjoy internships in E-Commerce, Digital Strategy, and Hero Cosmetics Social teams to support exciting projects throughout the summer.

 

Research & Development Internships & Co-ops

Joining our team as an R&D intern or co-op, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our skilled chemists and engineers.  Together, we will take on exciting and multifaceted projects that span across various disciplines.  We look for student pursuing degrees in Packaging Science/Engineering, Toxicology, Pharmacology, and Chemistry.

You’ll have an opportunity to support exciting areas, including:

  • Pilot plant and process development
  • Packaging innovation and development
  • Package technical transfer
  • Toxicology and chemistry

 

Human Resources Internships & Co-ops

Join us as a Human Resources intern or co-op and become an integral part of our dynamic team, collaborating with HR leadership to engage our global workforce through a variety of projects:

  • Employee engagement and strategy
  • Early career recruitment
  • Recruitment marketing and employer branding
  • HR business practices

 

Finance Internships & Co-ops

As a Finance intern, you will have the opportunity to acquire practical experience and develop your skills across various finance disciplines, working closely with senior leaders in Finance and Business Partner roles:

  • eCommerce and digital growth
  • Business analytics
  • Supply chain operations finance
  • Field and internal sales
  • International finance
  • Internal and external financial reporting
  • Technical accounting

 

Sales Analyst Internships

The sales intern will participate in a two-summer rotational program and explore opportunities in:

  • Account management
  • Category and shopper insights
  • Customer strategic planning
  • Sales analytics and business solutions

 

Global Supply Chain Internships 

Tackle challenges with real-life projects across: 

  • Customer Logistics 
  • Corporate Planning 
  • Supply Chain Strategy

Information Technology Internships 

You will work cross-functionally in collaboration with Church & Dwight Professionals. Immerse yourself in a variety of IT disciplines, including:  

  • Analysis
