The Role: As a Junior Innovation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Innovation to develop and commercialize new product concepts. Your primary responsibility will be to generate powerful consumer insights and transform them into winning products. Working closely with Marketing, R&D, Procurement, and other key partners, you will ensure the successful launch and performance of new products.

What You’ll Do:

  • Innovation Strategy: Create and maintain a robust innovation strategy and pipeline for the next 3+ years.
  • Consumer Insight & Exploration: Conduct research to deepen our understanding of consumer needs and identify new opportunities.
  • Concept Development: Collaborate with Marketing and R&D to develop and validate new product concepts.
  • Commercialisation: Lead the development of business cases and oversee project progress through to launch.
  • Leadership & Management: Provide strong leadership throughout the development process, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
  • Trends: Stay ahead of market trends and competitors, leveraging the latest consumer research technologies.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Requirement:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a regional or international business, preferably within personal care and beauty sectors.
  • Proven track record in NPD with measurable success.
  • Strong understanding of consumer insights and their application in product development.
  • Experience in managing research projects (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Creative thinker with the ability to analyse data and recommend strategic decisions.
  • Effective communicator, influencer, and team player with a 'can-do' attitude.
