Marketing Coordinator - 12 month contract

THE COMPANY:  

Church & Dwight Canada is a Consumer Packaged Goods company with over 30 leading brands in the Personal Care, Household and OTC categories. Listed on the S&P 500, most of C&D’s brands occupy a #1 or #2 share position.  

Its signature brand is the Arm & Hammer family of products that include baking soda, laundry detergent, dental care (toothpaste and Spinbrush) and cat litter. Other well-known and successful Church & Dwight brands include Trojan, First Response, OxiClean, Batiste, Nair, Gravol, Rub A535, Orajel, Vitafusion and L’il Critters. The company recently bolstered its brand roster with the acquisitions of the Hero Cosmetics, Therabreath, Anusol Hemorrhoid treatments and Waterpik.  

THE POSITION:  

Marketing Coordinator, Personal Care Brands 

The Personal Care division is fast becoming an engine growth for C&D Canada with multitude of high-profile strategic brands across Beauty, Hair Care and Sexual Health categories. We’re looking for a passionate individual to join our team, who has a strong understanding and interest in social, digital and eCommerce. 

In this position, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our marketing plan execution, optimizing digital shelf, and monitoring/analyzing brand performance.   

In your day-to-day role, the successful candidate will: 

• Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, working closely with external agency partners to execute social/influencer content, shopper marketing, and experiential/ sampling programs. 

• Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for production, printing, and distribution of marketing assets and promotional materials, coupons, and sales samples. 

• Collaborate with the eCommerce team to support development of content and implement strategies that optimize and enhance online visibility on various e-commerce platforms  

• Monitor and analyze brand performance, conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and retail/digital shelf to help inform marketing strategies and decisions. 

• Support artwork development with packaging partners through key milestones of briefing, artwork development, and separations. 

• Other administrative duties as required (legal routings, template development, purchasing and sample orders, tracking documents, couriers, meeting coordination, etc) 

This position will report to a Senior Marketing Manager. 

QUALITIES OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE  

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field 

• Preferred 1 year of marketing, communications, and/or project management related experience, ideally in a CPG environment but not mandatory 

• Demonstrated understanding of the marketing mix, with strong passion and interest in digital marketing, eCommerce and social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)  

• Excellent communication, organizational/project management and problem-solving skills, collaborating with cross-functional and agency partners to deliver on deadlines 

• Keen attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while delivering quality results. 

• Proactive, and eager to learn with a can-do attitude. 

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
