Job location: Hybrid (Ewing, NJ / Home Office)

Church & Dwight is looking for an Associate Manager, Artwork, as part of our Packaging Graphics team that will report to our Senior Manager, Packaging Design. You will be responsible for collaborating with our Marketing partners on packaging design projects across our brands. Providing support for design development and execution through final production. Be an advocate for the Artwork Development Process which includes educating new and existing employees on best practices and working with cross-functional partners to remove barriers to improve the routing process.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities                                                       

  • Act as the functional liaison for the artwork routing process for our brands, managing and addressing any queries raised by cross-functional teams.

  • Collaborate with Marketing partners, helping to clear any barriers impeding progress to ensure artwork is prioritized based on business related needs or deadlines.

  • Monitor projects and capture quality issues that would impact project timeline to improve the overall artwork process.

  • Responsible for reviewing color proofs, drawdowns and final mechanical artwork.

  • Must have an eye for creative review, understanding of print production processes to effectively review artwork and address any issues.

  • Strong adaptive/design sensibility; ability to assess whether a design adheres to pre-established brand packaging guidelines.

  • Organize necessary internal or external meetings for the coordination and resolution of artwork issues affecting our brands.

Education and Experience                                                          

  • Associate’s degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience

  • Artwork project management experience required

  • Experience in packaging graphics design, adaptive design and production

  • Working knowledge of packaging and commercial printing (flexo, offset, gravure, silkscreen etc.) and prepress processes

  • Familiarity working in an automated artwork routing tool preferred

  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and work to tight deadlines

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
