Senior Account Manager – Animal Nutrition

Our mission is to support the global livestock community with innovative and sustainable solutions. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team and drive our business forward in the UK, Republic of Ireland, and Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage Distributors: Cultivate both new and existing distributor relationships to ensure market growth.
  • Oversee Regional Business: Take charge of business activities in the UK, Republic of Ireland, and Netherlands, aligning them with company goals.
  • Product Portfolio Support: Provide comprehensive support on our product portfolio to distributor sales teams and key accounts.
  • Conduct Training: Lead product training sessions for distributors and end users to enhance product knowledge and usage.
  • Represent at Trade Shows: Showcase ARM & HAMMER Animal Nutrition at trade shows and conferences, promoting our brand and products.
  • Extensive Travel: Engage in frequent travel throughout the designated countries and within the UK to meet with distributors and key accounts.
  • Utilize Sales Tools: Develop, maintain, and utilize sales tools such as CRM and Business Plans to provide accurate information on channel contacts and developments.
  • Coordinate Regional Activities: Work closely with other support functions within the organization, including customer service, credit, Technical Services, and marketing.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Solid understanding of dairy, swine, and poultry economics, production, and nutrition.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a knack for financial benchmarking and evaluation.
  • Proficiency in product marketing and business management within the livestock feed industry.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a self-directed manner.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and create creative solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Dutch language skills are a benefit.
  • Exhibit characteristics required within the Specialty Products Division, including being committed, integrated/aligned, responsive, profitable, credible, and respectful.

Education & Experience:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited institution in Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, Livestock Science, Ag Finance, Ag Marketing, or a related field. Equivalent experience in the livestock industry will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the livestock feed or equivalent industry, preferably with people management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships, including both distributors and key accounts.
  • Proven track record of achieving top-line sales growth through distributor activity, support, and management.
