Role Summary                                                          

Support the organization through effective data analysis and timely reporting. Analyze and integrate data from multiple sources with direct interface into IT systems. Effectively turn data into actionable information to help the organization with decision making and streamlining of processes.  Support the data analytics of the company including Power BI adoption. Concisely present findings of analytics to the organization with recommendations on conclusions derived from the data. This is a hybrid position supporting the Waterpik business.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities                                      

  • Effectively interpret data from multiple sources to create actionable analytics

  • Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of Power BI development and dash boarding techniques

  • Support the cross functional teams with data trends and fact-based actionable information

  • Actively engage with the cross functional data analytics team including acting as the liaison between the analytics team as business support with IT

  • Effectively gather requirements from cross functional teams for data analytics, prioritize requests, execute desired outcome, and present findings

  • Assist in ad hoc analysis from the organization with detailed knowledge of data sources including providing recommendations

  • General understanding and interface with data analytics team at corporate

  • Collaborate with corporate IT regarding new software capabilities and how to incorporate those applications at Waterpik

  • Build and maintain data structures with integrity for organization and analytics team to utilize

  • Research and present areas for process improvement within the organization based on data structures

  • Conduct statistical-based work where quantitative tolls are used to make predictions and develop forward-looking strategies

  •  Troubleshoot data and reporting issues through thorough knowledge of database and table structures.

Operating Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities                                                       

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft programs, including Microsoft Power Platform suite of applications

  • Proficient in using, understanding and analyzing data, including a demonstrated ability to communicate findings across different levels of the organization

  • Skill to interpret data and translate into actionable activities, reports, presentations and other sales materials.

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with SQL and Microsoft Powerquery

  • Two years experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Education and Experience                                                          

  • Knowledge of analytical principles acquired through completion of bachelor’s degree or minimum 2 years relevant work or learning experience.

  • Continued development within modern BI tools and statistical analysis.

  • High school diploma or GED is required, Bachelor's degree preferred

Other Qualifications & Physical Requirements                                                        

Reporting Relationship:  Reports to the Data Analytics team lead

Supervisory Duties:  None

Salary and Benefits

Water Pik, Inc., a partner company of Church & Dwight Company, Inc., supports our employee’s wellbeing and regularly benchmarks with other companies in our industry to offer an extensive Total Reward package for this position.  Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Estimated pay:  Annual Salary  $68,000 - $106,300
