If the answer is yes - then look no further. Church & Dwight UK Ltd have a vacancy for Finance Assistant based at our UK head office in Folkestone, Kent, with 50% of the time working from home.
As Finance Assistant, the role holder will undertake a variety of tasks to ensure deadlines and KPI’s are achieved and whilst ensuring quality standards and compliance are maintained within the transaction finance function.
Broad responsibilities will include bank reconciliations, invoice postings, credit card and expenses reconciliations & payments and SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) compliance.

Responsibilities
• Multi-Currency bank reconciliations daily & monthly ensuring transactions are posted accurately.
• Log all supplier invoices, relating to designation portion of ledger into SAP system.
• Process invoices under 3way match system and investigate any discrepancies where appropriate.
• Distribute all invoices that have not 3way matched to the relevant departmental manager for authorisation.
• Full management of supplier ledgers to ensure invoices are paid on time, credit notes used and ultimately the ledgers are void of issues.
• Liaising with supplier, internal and banking contacts
• Maintaining accounts, verifying, and posting transactions in a timely manner
• Prepare payment runs for approval and upload onto banking platform, when required.
• Ensure filing of invoices is in line with company process.
• Reconcile all supplier statements and investigate all supplier queries.
• Issue to business SOX compliance tick sheet to evidence company’s adherence
• Save down monthly finance tasks supporting evidence for SOX compliance audits.
• Check and process expense claims in accordance with the company travel policy.
• Check and post all credit card expenditure.
• Strive and support the business to achieve monthly A/P working capital targets.
• Develop good relationships with employees in other departments and with company suppliers to achieve the smooth running of the department.
• Daily usage of financial processes, enhancing and updating where needed.
• Provide various analysis as and when required.
• Preparing new vendor documents for AP manager to approve
• Complete and support the process in submitting Gov.uk. surveys
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Finance Assistant, preferably from a comparable multi-national organisation. In addition, they will:
• Have experience in a similar account’s payable role.
• Have knowledge of book keeping and handling bank reconciliations
• Have a good level of SAP knowledge
• Have intermediate excel knowledge
• Be organized with excellent communication skills.
