Job Location: Hybrid (Ewing, NJ/Home Office)
Role Summary
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner at our Ewing, NJ headquarters.
This position is responsible for forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, deployment and supply chain analytics for our Vitafusion / Lil' Critters brands
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
•Manages inventory and order fill rates for the VMS Division using a variety of system-based tools and regular interaction with the producing locations, operations, business managers, and customer service
•Works closely with plants and external partners to understand capacity by location, line, and production variations in developing rolling production plans
•Leverage the SAP APO planning system to streamline supply and capacity planning for VMS
•Collaborates with Customer Service and production facilities to develop a dynamic supply chain while keeping costs and complexity to a minimum
•Completes monthly and quarterly inventory reconciliations for select manufacturing locations
•Coordinates with transportation, plant production planning, contract manufacturers, joint venture partners, and warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate scheduling and routing
•Analyzes forecasts, inventory, service levels, and processes for opportunities to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
•Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required
•2 – 5 years planning experience required
•Working knowledge of SAP ECC / APO preferred
•Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
•Organized and detail oriented
•Ability to analyze data and determine opportunities for improvement
•The ideal candidate must be a professional team-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and be able to adhere to deadlines
