Job Location: Hybrid (Ewing, NJ/Home Office)
Role Summary
Provide support and guidance related to Sales related expenses and initiatives to ensure data integrity as well as functional execution of financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Manage brokerage commissions including maintenance, adjustments, accruals, and payments including Bonus Brokerage objectives and liability. Maintain SAP tables with appropriate rates and provide monthly results to IT for Customer Profitability reporting. Administer customer/broker alignments in THOR.
Execute setup and maintenance of auto-accruals within SAP for Planogram and related retailer agreements. Approve promotions in THOR and reconcile retailer balances on an ongoing basis.
Process Sales and Trade related invoices in GEP and build relevant accruals. Participate in process improvement projects to streamline retailer payments and reporting of same in THOR.
Participate in monthly and quarterly close for Sales Finance-related P&L accounts including reconciliation, accruals and financial forecasts. Support ongoing audit reviews and requests.
Utilize GDW/SAP and data visualization tools to review activity and assess operational transactions. Identify variance drivers to forecast and financial plan and prepare key reports socializing results.
Provide support for internal and external Sales as well as cross-functional partners to insure best practices for reporting and process compliance. Participate in THOR upgrades and enhancement projects as well as GDW Power User forums.
Partner with Sales teams to develop and consolidate SG&A budgets including EVP, Sales leadership and Sales Finance teams.
Partner with Sales Finance, Sales teams, and IT to support ongoing business growth including new product and acquisition integration, ad hoc requests, and system user support.
Education and Experience
BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university required
2-5 years’ experience in Finance/Accounting or Sales Operations, preferably in a CPG environment.
Microsoft Office experience required. Siebel, SAP a plus.
Strong IT acumen
