If the answer is yes - then look no further. Church & Dwight UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a R&D Product Development Coordinator to join our Global Markets Group team based in Folkestone, Kent on a permanent basis.

This role will support the expansion of Church & Dwight products into Global markets through the gathering of technical documents in support of product registration, transformation of information into standardised formats for global dissemination, and uploading of documents into global dossier files. 

You will work cross functionally with our Global Regulatory team to facilitate product registrations as necessary and work closely under the supervision of an R&D manager in the coordination of product development activities. This role will report in to and work closely with our US C&D team.

This role will work with subject matter experts (SMEs) within R&D to gather product information, technical documentation, safety data, claims support documentation and manufacturing flow charts, to enable global market launches.

Other responsibilities include:

• Transforming information into standardized formats and upload into global dossier files. Create new formats as necessary.

• Coordinate responses to data requests for a wide variety of products in global markets.  Funnel & track requests to appropriate SMEs. 

• Working cross functionally with the Global Regulatory team to facilitate product registrations as necessary.

• Leverage experience & scientific background to coordinate product development activities to enable product expansion into global markets.

• Developing or managing laboratory samples and product prototypes as required by project or through contract manufacture collaboration.

• Identify test methods, conduct or manage testing that demonstrate the ability of products or prototypes to meet identified consumer needs or global markets’ requirements.

• Interact on project teams within C&D (intra-R&D, R&D PMO, Marketing, NPD, Operations, MRD, Procurement, Sales), with vendors and with contracted service suppliers; function as TPL on some project teams.

• Enter finished product, raw materials, and test method specifications into SAP specification system as needed.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience of product development and project coordination, whether from a previous role or internship, ideally within personal care or a similar category. You will have a degree in science or a related field and practical experience of working with cross function teams gained from industry. Communication skills are key for this role so you will have excellent verbal and written communication, able to work closely with colleagues at all levels. Finally, you will have excellent IT skills, particularly proficient with Microsoft Office products and be able to present data clearly and concisely. SAP PLM experience would be ideal but training will be provided.
