Role Summary                                                          

Sitting in the Global Markets Group within the International division, the brand manager will be responsible for contributing to the development of APAC brand strategies, working to identify and accelerate new product launch opportunities and for overseeing elements of brand equity on selected brands. The brand manager will accomplish these objectives through close partnership with the Church & Dwight international marketing team, our subsidiary marketers around the world and with our Global Markets Group sales team.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities   

  • Collaborate with Sales Team and Distributors, facilitate cross-stakeholder discussions (with Health Care Professional (HCP) and non HCP stakeholders) and synthesize the insights gained to identify target segments, to determine brand positioning, and to drive Close Loop Marketing engagement
  • Working with the OTC/ Devices team in the development and execution of OTC / Devices growth strategies that include brand growth plans, competitive defense plans and white space
  • Guide the design and implementation of all marketing activities and include innovative marketing tactics, traditional and non-traditional partnerships, multi-channel opportunities and multi-stakeholder initiatives in order to meet strategic brand objectives.
  • Ensure all in-field materials, strategies and tactics are aligned in order to drive momentum of strategic brand objectives
  • Lead the development of marketing inputs to short term and long term Strategic Brand Plan
  • Track ROI measurements for all marketing activities in order to achieve or exceed brand plan objectives.
  • Lead creative agencies to develop communication ideas and execute creative production designed/customized for the cultural nuances of local consumers
  • Develop fit-for-use toolkits (including concept, benefit, claims, copy, key visual, digital i-banners, social & eCommerce contents, etc.)
  • Coordinate with multifunctional teams to develop and launch new products
  • Craft pricing, promotion and channel strategy for new products
  • New Product / Claim Pipeline Development
  • Serve as the voice from APAC in brand meetings.
  • Track / report on new product roll-out and performance vs. planned goals.
  • Liaise with sales team and distributors to identify brand growth drivers for key markets.
  • Equity Stewardship: Develop brand footprints, review / comment on creative briefs and review brand copy (advertising & packaging) to ensure global consistency.

Education and Experience                                                          

  • A college degree (Bachelor’s, preferably with some business focus)
  • Minimum 3 years of brand management, ethical or consumer marketing experience or similar

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent forward-thinking, strategic and courageous leadership skills
  • Strengths with strategic and analytical thinking, and agility
  • An ability to drive brand growth
  • Strong ability to communicate and team capabilities
  • Organized, have a strong eye for detail and have ability to manage time effectively
  • Must have excellent English oral and written communications skills.  Additional language proficiency (Mandarin) preferred, but not a job requirement.
  • The job will be based at in Church and Dwight Singapore office, and will require occasional (~20%) international travel.
