If the answer is yes - then look no further. Church & Dwight UK Ltd have a permanent role for a Regulatory Manager to support our UK and European operations, based in either Folkestone or London (50% working from home, 50% in the office).
Reporting to the regional Regulatory Head, the Regulatory Manager is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of compliance policies, processes, and programs for the country business, consisting of medicines, electrical products, dietary supplements, and/or household consumer chemical products.
The role works closely with the regional Regulatory Head to ensure appropriate communication, escalation, and prioritisation of issues. With responsibility for influencing Marketing, Sales, Quality, Legal, Supply Chain and R&D leaders to support identified improvements, as well as culture changes, to ensure an appropriate level of compliance risk within the business.
The Regulatory Manager also has regulatory oversight of new product launches in the EU market which includes review, approval and release to market new products, and any changes throughout the product lifecycle. This position is responsible for supporting regulatory inspections and certification audits and ensuring compliance of product realisation.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a similar Regulatory Manager position, either an expert in Consumer products and/or Electrical Devices. They will also be a generalist in one of: Dietary supplements, or Pharmaceuticals. In addition:
University degree from an accredited institution in a related field
Professional typically with significant technical experience and a demonstrated track record
Evidence of contributions focused on some strategic initiative as well as functional execution elements; works independently and manages people
Consulted internally as an expert in at least one area of functional expertise
Practical understanding, interpretation, and application of the current UK and European regulations for pharmaceutical, electrical products.
Excellent verbal and written skills; able to analyse, define and effectively convey difficult and complex issues in a way that accurately and persuasively communicates issues to internal and external stakeholders, including Senior Management.
Ability to prioritise and to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work with all levels of management and to build relationships across disciplines.
Excellent influence, persuasion, communication, and presentation skills.
