If the answer is yes - then look no further. Church & Dwight UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Development Chemist to join our R&D team based in Folkestone, Kent on a permanent basis.
This role within the R&D team will be part of the development and formulation of products within our Hair Care portfolio, covering Batiste Dry Shampoo. Laboratory duties will include initiating new product concepts, preparation of laboratory and stability samples.
You will also work closely with internal stakeholders such as Marketing and Production to support the development of the concept through to launch. This will include preparing and presenting findings and data to internal and external audiences.
The ideal candidate will have experience of product formulation, whether from a previous role or internship, ideally within personal care or a similar category. You will have a degree in science or a related field and practical laboratory experience gained from industry. Communication skills are key for this role so you will have excellent verbal and written communication, able to work closely with colleagues at all levels. Finally, you will have excellent IT skills, particularly proficient with Microsoft Office products and be able to present data clearly and concisely.
