This is a hybrid role with flexibility to sit remotely and in the Ewing, New Jersey office. We are also open to fully remote candidates.

Role Summary
The Vice President of Non Food channel will lead and execute $1.6 billion in business across the entire Church & Dwight Co., Household, Personal Care, and Beauty product portfolio.
The VP of Non Food leads a multi-functional team assigned to a specific portfolio of Customer(s) across the Drug, Club, and Dollar channels, to accomplish desired business results. This customer team is comprised of Church & Dwight functional experts in sales, supply chain, category management and shopper insights, and the Vice President of Non Food Sales orchestrates these experts to deliver both functional and corporate results. This role is a member of the Commercial Leadership team which spans sales, marketing and sales finance. This leader ensures that the Church & Dwight corporation connects to the customer comprehensively across departments, and increases reliability, responsiveness, decision-making speed and innovation.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Responsible for leading pricing, promotions, P&L, annual sales, trade-spending and profit goals making profitable decisions that benefit total company, beyond the non food channel.
Direct and manage the entire sales process managing both direct and cross functional teams
Apply brand strategies to retailer/channel strategy initiatives and deliver these strategic plans within corporate spending guidelines and gross profit guidelines.
Ensure shopper focus and champion category thought leadership within commercial plans and processes
Understand, apply and integrate knowledge of Church & Dwight Supply Chain capabilities, policies, industry trends and Customer requirements to optimize supply chain performance
Create and/or implement communication initiatives that drive positive shopper behavior
Internally communicates clear, strategic initiatives and an issues with sense of urgency.
Develop and/or implement promotion and merchandising initiatives to drive desired business solutions
Ensure that objectives are achieved at the Customers’ outlets in accordance with the Customers’ business plan.
Delivers on both internal and external (retailer) commitments with accuracy and on timely basis.
Defines required multifunctional scorecard, integrated with Customer expectations
Develop sales leaders including multifunctional team member onboarding, coaching, priority setting, and Customer facing capability.
Improve Church & Dwight’s strategic alliance and relationship at Non Food retailers.
Collaboration: aligns and supports the greater commercial team including internal sales, marketing, finance, and insights/analytics teams.
Ensure non-food team forecast accuracy both topline sales and trade.
Assess talent of the organization on a regular basis and give feedback when necessary
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required. MBA a plus.
15+ years sales management experience
5+ years people management experience
Skills and Competencies
Proven leader who is totally accountable for all results
Proven ability to create strategic business plans that leverage internal resources to deliver agreed upon results
Executive communication and negotiation skills with an ability to problem-solve, and deal with ambiguity
