We’re looking to accelerate our Digital Transformation program at Church & Dwight by building a team of Digital Marketing Specialists like you, to help us achieve our ambitious eCommerce and Brand growth targets.
The new role of Digital Marketing Specialist, within our European Marketing team, is responsible for driving accelerated Sales Activations in eCommerce to win market share, as well as improve our Brand Building media campaigns, across our European business subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. As a key strategic focus area for Church & Dwight, this is a high visibility role with both high challenge & high support from the business with opportunities for significant growth in the future if successful.
The European Digital Marketing Specialist role will help shape and lead the execution of the Digital Marketing strategy for Church & Dwight Europe, in close collaboration with the European Head of Digital Marketing. The role will be based at our London Euston office (2 days in office, 2 days at home, 1 day flex) and also requires some travel to our European subsidiaries in Paris & Frankfurt. The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for the below activities:
Improving Digital Media ROI
Enabling Frictionless Commerce
Enhancing the Digital Shelf
Ensuring Digital Readiness & Digital Acuity
Facilitiating European-wide Collaboration
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a Digital Marketing role, at a Brand Manager / Senior Brand Manager level or equivalent, in a comparable industry:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification required.
Significant experience with a demonstrable record of leading Digital & eCommerce projects.
Desired Experience: Project Management, Product Detail Page development, Mobile Optimization, Data analytics, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) principles, understanding of paid search principles and measurement, understanding of organic search algorithms and variables that drive search ranking, promotional know-how on driving trial and subscription, understanding of the role auto-replenishment plays in the shopper journey, knowledge of Amazon Marketing Suite ecosystem and Amazon Retail Analytics.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from concept to commercialization.
Understanding of how to use Market Data Tools and Reporting & Analysis tools such as Kantar, Nielsen, IRI (ideally StackLine, Profitero, BrandBank, & BazaarVoice in Digital Marketing).
Solid Microsoft Office suite capabilities, especially strong PowerPoint & Excel skills.

Stakeholder management (if from agency side, must have been client facing), comfortable with navigating a complex matrix organisation, and vendor / agency management experience.
Analytical skills to quickly identify risks and opportunities in market data & across projects.
Sound strategic thinking and strong digital acumen required to develop and execute an aggressive commercial plan for the long-term growth of our portfolio of brands through digital mediums.
Excellent English oral & written skills. Additional language proficiency in French and/or German ideal.
