We are already at 15% of our business coming from eCommerce with power brands like Trojan, Arm & Hammer, First Response, Vitafusion, Batiste, and many more. We are looking for a nimble, curious, challenger mindset talent as the Manager, eCommerce acceleration & Digital Shelf excellence lead.
You will serve as the subject matter expert for eCommerce content best practices, benchmarking, content creation and publication, and ongoing performance measurement.
You are someone with a growth mindset and who thrives in an agile and fast-paced work environment with autonomy to drive outcomes.
You have exposure to vendors like Profitero, Edge by Ascential, eFundamentals, Content Analytics, One Space etc. and always stay up-to date with what is best of breed out there in terms of tools and technologies.
We love that you have bias for action and always strive to test and learn new A/B scenarios, stay apprised of industry trends, best practices on both established and indie brands.
You have a performance mindset driven approach and continually assess what’s working, what’s not working using data, analytics and storytelling to adjust, repackage, eliminate and accelerate content for our brands
You enjoy defining the metrics, delivering growth and then restating the metrics in pursuit of new growth.
You excel thinking strategically while having the ability to roll up your sleeves and execute with excellence in partnership with in-house and external agencies.
You liaise well external parties, consulting firms, other CPG, industry leaders and digitally native companies - to keep an eye on ‘what good looks like’ across the sector
You are well versed with and keep yourself current on retailer requirements around eCommerce content, you are familiar with enterprise PIM/DAM systems, managing creating resources.
You are passionate about unlocking new ways to vividly tell our stories to our consumers in an omnichannel environment and have a relentless desire to improve that experience across all retailer touchpoints.
We will consider fully remote with occasional travel to our corporate office in Ewing NJ.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Collaborate with Group Leader, eCommerce and Director, eCommerce sales to develop content strategies, roadmaps, prioritization and measurement plans to drive online growth
Ongoing management of content assessment, benchmarking, and creation efforts including prioritization of workstreams, timelines and managing agency and creative resources
Partner with eCommerce sales teams to develop and maintain our content management and publication processes
Partners with Manager, eCommerce analytics for reporting on digital shelf performance including brand/retailer health, share of shelf/share of voice, ratings & reviews insights, and performance of specific content initiatives
Actively conduct competitive workshops, analyses, and benchmarking for our brands, sharing out insights and opportunities for our content and digital shelf with our brand and eCommerce teams, leveraging agency resources where needed.
Help manage end-to-end new product launch process in partnership with National Account Managers to ensure all products launch content is complete and on-time
Actively own and evaluate existing ecommerce tech stack and agency partners and assess opportunities for new partners as well as consolidation
Develop and provide educational materials on best-in-class content and digital shelf performance to increase knowledge and skills of broader marketing organization
Publish newsletter or similar learning material across eCommerce sales, marketing and broader brand teams around eCommerce content and digital shelf best practices
Education and Experience .
BS / BA Marketing or Business Administration
About 5 years of eCommerce or marketing experience required
Required: Highly curious on all things digital marketing, eCommerce and consumer experience. We seek energy, enthusiasm, willingness and ability to raise the bar
Skills and Competencies
Broad knowledge of retailer systems and eCommerce content best practices
Exceptional project management experience with experience in managing multiple creative partners, a large catalog of products and diverse retailer requirements
Highly intellectually curious about the changing eCommerce landscape and pivoting towards future needs
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Self-starter that can work in ambiguous environments
Experience with Salsify, Syndigo, Profitero, Edge by Ascential, Content Analytics and/or similar products
Enjoys building trust, rapport and influencing cross functional partners
