If the answer is yes - then look no further. Church & Dwight UK Ltd have a permanent role for a Centre of Excellence - Supply Chain Manager to support our UK and European operations, based in London (50% working from home, 50% in the office).
This new role works closely within a Centre of Excellence (COE) team to develop best practice standards, which will be implemented across our Global Markets Group (Export) Supply Chain. This will result in the delivery of great customer service and improved cost efficiencies.
Key responsibilities include:
Forming a close working relationship with GMG COE S&OP Manager and GMG COE Controller to ensure a collaborative approach to GMG support.
To develop the processes and best practice Supply Chain standards that support the growth of GMG.
To document, communicate and train out these practices to appropriate Supply Chain functions
To establish appropriate metrics and KPIs to determine the performance of the GMG Supply Chain and address any areas of concern.
To determine best sourcing practices and processes to support GMG growth.
To ensure that sales forecasts are reviewed and that detailed supply plans are compiled to support the supply of products either internally or through third party of products to meet sales needs
Manage inventory and SKU levels to agreed targets and maintain appropriate safety stock policies
To actively support the GMG Sales & Operational Planning Process and lead its integration into supply chain.
Deliver new products on time to meet required launch plans
To ensure that goods are supplied at best possible price and appropriate quality.
Drive great customer service as measured by OTIF, to GMG customers.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a similar Supply Chain Improvement focused position. In addition:
Hold a University degree in a relevant field
Significant experience in Supply Chain Management.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Ability to lead cross functionally, forge strong working relationships and build effective project teams.
Self-motivated with the ability to plan ahead and use initiative.
Strong negotiating skills.
Strategic thinking.
Confident user of IT systems.
Ability to manage, motivate and inspire people.
Decision Making - Ability to analyze and interpret data to make accurate and expedient decisions.
Commercially aware with a clear focus on driving excellent financial & commercial performance.
Awareness of developing and maintaining a framework of strong financial controls.
Committed to driving change and comfortable with managing the associated conflicts
