If the answer is yes - then look no further. Church & Dwight UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Administration Assistant on a fixed term basis until October 2023 to join our team based in Folkestone, Kent (with 50% on site and 50% working from home).

The Planning Administration Assistant will focus on the administration and support for various brands in the Planning Department. The role requires a requires a flexible proactive approach, and the ability to deal with ambiguous information on multiple items, which can change frequently at short notice

Regular duties include:

  • Supporting the Supply Planner to ensure daily and monthly task are done on time using SAP and Excel skills

  • Undertaking purchase order and supplier management

  • Ensuring regular housekeeping of MRP lists on SAP is in place.

  • Managing the phase in phase out of products. Both in SAP and in Excel and communicating changes to the various parts of the business

  • Assisting with manual forecast changes within SAP

  • Requesting movement of stock between plants when needed,

  • Supporting the Supply Planner by review of various reports and input of data for regular meetings

Responsibilities include:   

  • Assisting Supply Planning to ensure daily weekly and monthly takes are managed

  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders

  • Weekly and monthly reports of inventory data and general operations reports to local and US management.

  • Cross functional working with the wider C&D team.

The ideal candidate will have either experience of planning, a good level of knowledge of SAP and/or strong administration skills and a willingness to learn. In addition they will:

  • Have experience of managing suppliers for purchasing order confirmation and late POs

  • Be highly numerate

  • Have excellent communication skills written and spoken English. 

  • Have experience in a commercial or supply planning role

  • Have excellent organisation skills & proven attention to detail

  • Have a high level of computer literacy – spreadsheets, databases, presentations
