Job Location: Hybrid (Ewing, NJ/Home Office)

Role Summary                                                          

Supervise the CHD Supply Chain Logistics Accounting Department including all Accounting, Reporting and Analysis functions.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities                                                  

  • Manage the month-end logistics accounting close including the reporting and analyses for all CHD Plant DC’s and all logistics costs for the A&H and SPD brands and the International subsidiaries. This includes SAP journal entries, reserve analyses and compliance with SOX accounting guidelines.

  • Chair the Monthly Results Review meetings providing fact based analyses of all significant variable, fixed and international distribution expense variances.

  • Work closely with the plant controllers, IT, Planning, and Controller’s department in providing support and guidance for logistics accounting report submission for SAP & GDW as it relates to Monthly, Quarterly PPR’s and Annual Plan

  • Work closely with plant controllers to continually strive for process improvement and consistency across the sites.

  • Support NPD analysis, new brand launches and acquisition related initiatives.

Education and Experience                                                          

  • BS in Accounting/Finance from an accredited institution. 

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in cost accounting / financial accounting analysis role, preferably in a multi-product, multi-plant, multi-warehouse environment.

  • Corporate and or Divisional HQ Operations Finance experience preferred.
