The Engagement Specialist plays an integral role in engaging our workforce around a common goal and workplace experience while reaffirming and reinforcing our culture. Through change management, communications and engagement activities, you will have a key part in our commitment to demonstrate that we are workplace where people matter. You will be part of a team that engages the workforce around a common goal and continually improves the employee experience to unite people around a common purpose. This position is hybrid based at our Ewing office.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Provides input in the creation of activities and tools that enhance the employee work experience, reenforce our culture and help people aspire to be part of a greater purpose on the job.
Own the onboarding program, including looking for ways to continuously improve the program and use it accelerate onboarding and culture awareness.
Creates corporate communications and manages content. This includes identifying content opportunities as well as hands-on producing and publishing of content. Content includes video stories, photography, event promotions, news stories, internal social media posts and event management.
Supports engagement programs and processes such as corporate teambuilding activities and events.
Works across the network, stakeholders, and partners (within HR and in other functions) with others to understand the needs of the business related to engagement activities.
Builds toolkits and job aids related to engagement programs and activities.
Understand analytics and how metrics apply to strategies and decisions supporting engagement and communications.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business, communications, PR or related field.
- 3+ years of experience developing and delivering content and materials designed to motivate and inspire the workforce
- Experience leading & facilitating an onboarding process
Skills and Competencies
Skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite of tools to produce, edit and manage digital assets of all types.
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
Has a strong collaborative mindset
Demonstrated progressive and/or innovative ways to enhance the employee experience
Passionate about learning and using new technologies.
Enjoys working as part of a team in a collaborative environment and equally enjoys working independently.
Go-getter with great initiative and the ability to deliver and drive results.
Thrives in a dynamic fast paced environment.
Ability to manage ambiguity without a loss of execution.
Able to organize and prioritize across multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
Willingness to ‘roll up their sleeves’ and willing to evolve to meet changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
