Role Summary
The WMS System Analyst will play an integral part in the WMS team, engaging with business and IT partners to get initiatives and projects completed throughout the C&D Plants in North America. This role is a technical role that focuses on successful implementation, upgrades, and daily support of our WMS Eco-System, requiring travel to our sites and engaging in all aspects of warehouse system solutions.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Participates in all phases of WMS project upgrades including: Testing, Training, Installation, and configuration of hardware and software components.
Participates in on-site Go-Live and Post Go-Live stabilization events.
Must be able to travel 50%-60% to facilities across our Corporate, U.S., and International locations. supporting WMS initiatives
Provides WMS Administration, Configuration, Workflow Setup and development for WMS system and Eco-System components
Assists in creating and maintaining Dashboards and Web Pages in HTML and Power BI
Performs Data Migration tasks and Data analysis as per WMS project rollout
Documents Interfaces, data flows, technical specifications as needed
Creates and publishes ASN, Customer and Quality Labels thru ZPL Language updates.
Understands and applies appropriate methodologies and procedures (e.g., SDLC, Agile).
Develops clear understanding of WMS Equipment used at Church & Dwight plants, including Voice Units, RF Handhelds, RF Truck mounts, Tablets.
Supports Day-to-day administration and troubleshooting business and operational issues associated with the WMS. Quantifies issues and provides supporting data if issues are escalated to the appropriate IT team or 3rd party vendor.
Develops, supports, and participates on SDLC validation documentation authoring, and reviews.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant warehouse management systems experience required
Experience with WebLogic 12c, Oracle 19c, Oracle Reports, and Power Bi applications
Expertise with interface technologies including SAP IDOC connections, TCP/IP Sockets, XML, Table to Table, etc.
Comprehensive understanding of Oracle Databases in a Cloud Environment
Experience with ITIL processes including SDLC documentation in a regulated environment including change management, system validation, 21 CFR Part 11, IOQ, IQ, PQ, and HPQC documentation and testing.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts, wireless technology, security, and setup of RF equipment.
Basic knowledge of ZPL language and working knowledge of SATO, Zebra, or similar barcode PnA printers.
Experience in both Development and Application Support roles.
Experience with integration solution design and development
Skills and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Experience with WMS Application configuration, and administration across shipping, receiving, and manufacturing areas.
Background (minimum 5 years) in plant/warehousing operations and technology, with strong emphasis in analyzing and troubleshooting WMS setup, configuration, database, and networking integration issues.
Ability to be well organized and handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and team-oriented environment.
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of LAN/WAN environments, and cloud technology
Ability to multi-task and understand prioritization of deliverables.
Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
Experience with programming languages and reporting tools such as SQL scripting
Ability to read, write and update SQL statements, procedures, and jobs for small enhancements, reporting and system troubleshooting
Working knowledge of MS Office with strong Power BI skills
Ability to work with complex concepts, analyze data, draw conclusions, make recommendations while using judgment, experience and increasing industry knowledge
Ability to show initiative and be an independent thinker
