Look no further as Church & Dwight UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a talented International Account Manager to join our Global Markets Group team, primarily managing our mass market distributors in Western & Central Europe and Turkey EMEA markets. This role is based at our office in Euston, London, with 50% working from home and a significant amount of business travel.

Working across our portfolio of Brands, this role will be responsible for delivering sales and profit growth through successful management of current distributors and opening of new markets through new distributors.

Our portfolio of brands covers haircare, healthcare and personal care, and includes Batiste Dry Shampoo, Femfresh Intimate Wash, Arm & Hammer Toothpaste and Nair Hair Removal Cream to name a few!

The role’s duties include:

Business Development

  • Build businesses from scratch in key markets by identifying and appointing the best distribution partners

  • Motivate and stimulate distributors to deliver sales and profit targets.


  • Work with the International and local Brand Managers to ensure the marketing activities are in line with the brand strategy/positioning.

  • Working with Distributors to realise successful implementation of agreed activity calendar and NPD (in line with P&L and marketing objectives).


  • Manage all aspects of Region P&L including the marketing investment

  • Prepare Profit forecast per territory, partner and brand in a timely fashion including gross sales, trade allowances and marketing expenditure

  • Monitor and control profitability of the markets, and report monthly on performance against sales and profit targets.


  • Motivate, challenge and support existing distributors to maximize sales and profit growth

  • Evaluate existing distributor performance as well as evaluate potential new distributors.

  • Identify, recommend and appoint new distributors in greenfield areas

The ideal candidate will have significant international experience of building growth with distributors in a comparable market in Europe. In addition, they will:

  • Be educated to a high standard of relevant competence

  • Have a proven track record in international experience building businesses in the Region

  • Have considerable Global Markets (Export-International) Account Management experience in the FMCG (Personal Care) sector

  • Have good knowledge and experience of marketing and brand building activities

  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Have demonstrable record of progress and achievement

  • Have proven ability to business develop new territories in Europe

  • Have excellent command of MS office programs

  • Be fluent in English: written & spoken essential (additional languages Spanish/Italian would help with working with distributors in the region)
