Role Summary                                                           
Provide technical support to internal and external customers for products, markets, quality and regulatory affairs and act as technical liaison to R&D, Analytical, Operations, Regulatory and Quality functions

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities   (Describe the 5-7 major accountabilities)                                                       
•    Provide support to ensure Customer Satisfaction
o    Field, log, and ensure timely resolution and response to customer technical inquiries.
o    Coordinate completion of customer surveys/questionnaires and other documents related to Food Safety, Quality and/or Regulatory issues.
o    Review Customer specifications for compliance
o    Coordinate, execution, and maintain research studies for customers
•    Work with Poultry Business Manger to achieve revenue targets for the food safety poultry segment
•    Lead Product Research, Field Trial and University Trial efforts to drive business growth
•    Provide technical support for new product development
•    Conduct internal and external customer training/education
•    Maintain documentation for product specifications, data sheets, certifications, etc
•    Maintain competitive product database and report as required (data analysis / interpretation)
•    Participate in industry associations and provide technical interface as required
•    Awareness of Regulatory Food Safety Standards and Adulterants
•    Up to 45% travel.

Education and Experience                                                           
•    M.S., or Ph.D. in food microbiology or similar discipline
•    10+ years of industrial experience in related technical discipline. 
•    Knowledge of multiple product, technologies, or functional areas as well as R&D management or technical program management experience needed. 
•    Farm to Fork Poultry industry experience helpful. 
•    Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships, handle multiple priorities and work in a self-directed manner.
