PURPOSE OF POSITION

Electrical engineering, product engineering, new technology research, new concepts study, future work feasibility, and laboratory support.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The position will be responsible for electronic design and product development for the consumer products. Work with external and internal team for new product research, development. They provide technical support to local Laboratory and Global R&D team.

MAJOR RESPONSABILITIES

  • Work for new concepts, new technology and future work feasibility, be responsible for research of new product concepts and functionality evaluation.

  • Lead electronic engineering development. Develop, analyze, review, and verify with outsourced engineering team for electronic engineering parts’ specifications, circuit diagram, PCB layout, test plan, prototype samples. 

  • New test technology study, and upgrade lab test capacity. Develop new test methods, critical test fixtures/ or equipment.

  • Responsible for product/component safety compliance review and test with external resource.

  • Work with cross functional teams, support new product integration, and create product technical specification.

  • Analyze and study competitors' products in local markets, and to understand the market trend.  

·QUALIFICATIONS

  • Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

  • 3+ years EE experience in advanced manufacturing environment, having experience and ability for product engineering according to business needs.

  • Related working experience in medical device, personal care products/household products, and OEM/ODM outsourcing business model. Familiar with ISO9000, ISO13485, GMP, quality tools and statistical technology.

  • Good knowledge on electronic circuit design, creating PCB layout, MCU development. Familiar with key electronic components qualification processes, such as DC motor, battery, PCBA, Switch etc.

  • Good experience in product lifecycle testing, having rich theoretical knowhow and data analysis skills; working experience in international corporation is preferred.

  • Good knowledge of Design controls, DOE, Hazard Analysis, and regulatory requirements. Knowledge and experience in Heavy metal/EMC/UL/Reliability test is preferred.

  • Experience of manufacturing process control, new product development process and project management skills.

  • Focus on technical development and problem solving and strong mindset of continuous improvement is required.

  • Solid experience with teamwork, good at communication and coordination.

  • Must be able to read and write in English (email, specification, test method, technical report, audit summary and test plan, etc.), good English speaking, and listening is required.
