Position: Display Manager (12 month contract)

Reports to:  Team Lead, Customer Strategic Planning

Overview:

The Display Manager is responsible to lead the development of display strategies across the portfolio and lead the display purchasing and production process. This role works both internally and externally. It involves working with the Customer Strategic Planning group, Supply Chain, Finance and Sales organizations. This role also works with external partners who produce our Canadian displays. This role has one key deliverable i) Developing the display strategy and execute production on corporate displays. The right person for this role will have experience with negotiating, data reporting, collaborating with others, has great attention to detail and experience designing and executing processes.

The Display Manager will be responsible for:

Developing the Display Strategy

  • In line with corporate priorities, develop the corporate display strategy across our businesses
  • Secure the required budget to support and expected return on investment
  • Report on key display data metrics
  • Secure internal alignment to display plans
  • Identify and address opportunities for improvement with the display process on an ongoing basis

Executing sourcing and production on Displays

  • Identify and secure agreements with external suppliers to ensure reliable supply for display production
  • Negotiate best price for display plans
  • Ensure suppliers comply with established business processes
  • Work in partnership with sales and supply chain to ensure display plan is executed
  • Ensure brand level display plans are on track and on budget
  • Provide regular updates on display plan status to key internal stakeholders

Education & Experience:

  • University Education (preference given to MBA / Bachelor of Commerce)
  • 6+ years’ experience in CPG Industry
  • Required experience with display management processes
  • Experiencing working collaboratively across multiple functions

Skills & Competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others across functions
  • Experience negotiating with external suppliers
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage a budget
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Great attention to detail
