We are looking talent who join as Market Research & Innovation Manager

The role focus on all consumer scenarios and products, around consumer characteristics, insights, purchase paths, demand scenarios, consumption trends, and combine competition analysis to improve current and future product core competitiveness and explicit user experience. Provide timely, accurate, and in-depth user basis for ongoing business & innovation decision-making.

What you will do.

  • Research on people and trends: Describe consumer profiles, gain insights into consumption trends, and extract consumption rules and future business opportunities through research on people, consumption trends, and consumer brands to provide effective input.
  • Industry and market insight: Gain insight into market changes, development trends, and competitors' dynamics to provide decision-making inputs for products, marketing, and retail.
  • Demonstrate applied knowledge across the core phases of the market research cycle: awareness, targeting, acquisition and retention; as well as testing brand/genre, communication, concept & prices studies.
  • Identify appropriate methodologies based on business and research objectives.
  • Help guide social media analysis and benchmarking awareness for new/returning series premieres.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure successful execution of research projects (domestic and global), overseeing day to day project management/direction, quality controls, and the integrity of deliverables.
  • Lead strategic research using primary, secondary and syndicated data sources
  • Brand Engagement research includes ad concept- and pre-testing (quant and digital quals), monitoring performance of digital platforms, evaluating effectiveness of campaigns, optimize effectiveness of cross media campaigns, mapping brands and its competitors (continuous and ad-hoc).
  • Product Innovation research includes pack tests, product tests, U&A and conjoint analysis.
  • Manage all steps of a research project (from survey set up, scripting, field work monitoring, data processing & analysis & visualization)
  • Analyze and monitor on a monthly business opportunities, problems, and competitive landscape, through different sources of information (including internal data, syndicated data, financial P&L), using data to make recommendations for ways to better meet short and long-term business goals, as well as identify insights that can leave to new business building ideas.
  • Able to manage NPD´s projects, since detecting a business opportunity to the development and preparation for launch.
  • Responsible for medium and high impact decisions that contribute to problem resolution for NPDs development, maintaining a constant alignment with the Senior Innovation Manager.
  • Controls NPDs plan, unblock obstacles; aligns different areas involved; proposes cross-functional processes and procedures to ensure its success.

What do you need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing managing brand or Innovation
  • Experience managing OTC or pharmaceuticals products.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Full Command of English - speaking, writing, reading is a must
  • Proficiency in MS Office (presentations, formats, databases, graphs, pivot tables)
  • High expertise with syndicated data such as Nielsen, IQVIA, etc.
  • Knowledge of sales tracking databases and prescription market audits.
  • Strong numerical and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong experience setting research objectives, writing surveys, creating screeners, sound sampling and weighting schemes, and analyzing results.
  • P&L understanding & management – Desirable
  • Enjoys sharing knowledge and experience with others to improve their skills
  • Is flexible and likes to work within a dynamic organization
  • Is able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Experience setting research objectives, writing surveys, creating screeners, sound sampling and weighting schemes, and analyzing results
  • Ability to Dive Deep and translate complex data sets into clear and compelling written narrative.
  • Passion for brands, advertising, and digital.
  • Interest in interpreting numbers and other data, ability to translate those into actionable results and insights for clients.
