We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Custodian at our Vancouver, WA plant. The successful candidate will perform custodial duties inside and outside of a manufacturing facility.

This position is available on our 4th shift which works Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

The base rate for this position is $16.00 per hour plus 4th shift receives a $2.00 per hour shift differential.

Newly hired employees will receive our $2,000 sign on bonus in $1,000 increments after 6 months and 9 months completion of employment!

Responsibilities:

  • Follow standard operating procedures, company policies, safety policies and practices, quality standards and good manufacturing practices (GMP).

  • Maintain facilities in a clean and orderly condition.

  • Work in clean room, warehouse, and production environments.

  • Use a variety of cleaning utensils and equipment such as floor scrubbers.

  • Operate scissor lifts and forklifts when needed.

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as wipe down furniture, scrub toilets, washes windows, clean and mop floors. Wipe down walls & doors. Empty out trash cans, etc.

  • Perform high cleaning in a scissor lift.

  • Replenish kitchen and bathroom supplies.

  • Report supply needs to supervisor.

  • Elevate needs and issues to supervisor.

  • Complete cleaning work orders in a timely manner.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED plus 1 year experience, and/or equivalent combination of experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform the job. The candidate’s experience should include the following areas:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to assist in keeping buildings and grounds clean and orderly.

  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

  • Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.

  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

  • Ability to maintain punctuality and predictable attendance.

  • Ability to perform moderate physical activity such as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds; stand and/or walk more than four to six (4-6) hours and up to twelve (12) hours per day; and work onsite in a light industrial environment, including some exposure to non-toxic dust.
