If the answer is yes - then look no further as Church & Dwight UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a European Business Intelligence Analyst based either at our office in Folkestone, Kent, or Euston, London, with approximately 50% working from home and regular travel to our offices in France.

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing insightful and actionable analysis and reporting for Church & Dwight across multiple domains. Primarily partnering with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to produce reporting to inform business decisions, improve efficiency, increase productivity and maximize profitability.

This is a new position within an existing BI team and the successful candidate will be joining at an early and exciting stage and will have the opportunity to shape BI and Analytics across the European organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting/Analysis for the EU business unit, as prioritised, to include:

    • Website metrics

    • Creating and updating dashboards for sales performance

    • Promotion performance and ROI

    • Market Share

    • Forecast and Forecast Accuracy

    • Customer segmentation, lifetime value, retention

  • Project support for iGDW and business as usual support

  • Project Support for TPM Lite and business as usual support

  • Taking analytic request briefs from business users

  • Creating & automating reporting to provide clear visibility into the most important aspects of the business using multiple data sources (SAP, SQL, SSAS, AAS, MS Azure, Excel Spreadsheets, SharePoint Lists, etc.). 

  • Identifying opportunities for adding advanced analytics to support long term business goals.

  • Providing training to Power BI business users

  • Maintaining data quality and data governance policies, ensuring robust data management practices to ensure there is confidence in data as a single source of truth

  • Investigating, interpreting and understanding complex unstructured data and translate into value driven insight

  • Partnering with USA ACE team to develop BI solutions for sharing within the EU business

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst from a comparable role and organisation (for example FMCG/pharma). They will also have:

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency across all Microsoft BI toolset (SQL, Logic Apps, Blob, ADF, Power BI)

  • SAP data structures, especially Sales and Distribution module

  • Strong analytical skills using a data driven approach to all programs

  • Good knowledge of business intelligence tools and statistical modelling methods is a plus.

  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team

  • Ability to prioritise, problem solve and communicate solutions

Education & experience

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or complimentary discipline (Marketing, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance) or equivalent workplace experience

  • Extensive experience in a comparable analytics role

  • Bilingual French/English (German language skills an advantage)

  • Experience of managing and delivering change

  • Experience with e-commerce, direct marketing, and statistical modelling is a plus

This role will be based approximately 50% in the office (either Folkestone, Kent, or Euston offices) and 50% working from home, it will require the ability to travel to our European partners in France and Germany.
