Role Summary                                                          

Come be a part of Church & Dwight’s eCommerce acceleration! We are already at 15% of our business coming from eCommerce with power brands like Trojan, Arm & Hammer, First Response, Vitafusion, Batiste, and many more. We are looking for a curious, fast learning, data and analytics guru who can help simplify the complex and fragmented world of ecommerce data and help drive winning strategies on our brands as the Manager, eCommerce measurement, insights and analytics.

  • You will lead to be the company’s trusted source for all topline eCommerce related reporting and analysis, in addition to leading key strategic projects
  • You are someone with a growth mindset and who thrives in an agile and fast-paced work environment with autonomy to drive outcomes
  • You are a highly curious, fast learner, who is eager to and can pick up new systems, concepts, metrics
  • You have strong skills in managing and combining complex data sets with a passion for simplifying into clear and actionable reports and lead with data driven storytelling
  • You have a bias for action and are constantly trying to improve the quality and accessibility of data and reporting to the broader commercial organization
  • You collaborate well with a variety of key internal and external partners, eagerly seeking feedback and trying to ensure all reporting needs are met
  • You have a passion for education and helping empower our teams to leverage data to its full potential

Will consider fully remote with occasional travel to our corporate office in Ewing NJ.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities                                                       

  • Lead eCommerce data collection, mining, and topline reporting using multiple data sources
  • Drive reporting and insights in online and offline market share, category and competitor dynamics, share of voice and share of shelf, conversion rate, sentiment analytics of ratings and reviews etc.
  • Help assess marketing strategy and content optimizations for pre/post impact and ROI in partnership with the other eCommerce team member6
  • Partner with the broader ecommerce team and agency partners to ensure paid media measurement strategy and KPIs are driving desired topline sales growth goals.
  • Active tracking, analysis, and reporting on CPG and industry peer group performance leveraging available data sources including annual earnings reports & presentations
  • Partner with marketing analytics and digital marketing teams to analyze broader channel performance outside of eCommerce to enhance audience segmentation and targeting strategies on retailer platforms
  • Stay up to date on eCommerce and marketing industry trends and technology, continually evaluating and assessing specialist agencies to address gaps in our data collection analytics

Education and Experience                                                           .

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing Analytics (with Digital/eCommerce experience strongly preferred)

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent skills around quantitative analytics & storytelling with data
  • Strong abilities in excel, power BI, and/or tableau for data manipulation and visualization
  • Ability to effectively visualize data, highlighting important actionable insights
  • Ability to integrate different data sources and translate complex information into actionable reports/presentations with common terms
  • Ability to manage and lead in ambiguity, a go-getter attitude to figure things out and seeks continuous improvement
  • Creativity, tenacity, a sense of urgency, and a hands-on orientation.
  • Self-driven, curious, independent problem solver with a strong work ethic and high energy
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to provide strategic insights in a clear, concise manner to all levels of an organization
  • Highly organized with proven multi-tasking, follow-up ability and project management.
  • Understanding of basic financial concepts and financial forecasting
  • Knowledge of IRI, Nielsen, Stackline, Profitero, Numerator, Amazon platform and similar systems is preferred
